.Notice To Property Owners

The State Assessment Office for Somerset County will inspect individual properties when the owners request it because they feel their properties have been significantly impacted by Hurricane Sandy. In order to be eligible for a reduction in your tax assessment due to storm damage, you should request and return a Damaged Property Assessment Reduction Application.  To request an application, please call (410) 651-0868 x 154 and leave a detailed message with your name, daytime phone number, property premise address and mailing address, if different. Note that assessment damage will be based on structural damage and not the loss of personal property or contents.

Notice regarding Storm Related Debris

Tree Limbs, brush etc. will continue to be accepted at the designated site on Messick Farm, directly across from the Landfill on Westover Road. Before deposting any debris or waste, all vehicles must first cross the scales. This designated area will be available for your yard debris until June 1st, 2013.
